Saving Amy is excited to announce its 5th Annual Celebration “Hearts United” on Saturday, December 4th, 2021. The evening will involve many festivities, including live music, dinner, a live and silent auction, recognition for our graduating families, and sharing stories of hope.
Saving Amy was founded with a mission to empower individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness by transforming lives through mentoring, teaching life skills, educational advancement, and financial stability through employment.
The maximum stay in the homeless shelter is 120 days with an average of 70 days. Current government housing programs, such as Rapid Rehousing, focus on the external issue of securing housing quickly. While housing is extremely important, internal issues need to be addressed in order to end the cycle of homelessness. Saving Amy takes a holistic approach to address the internal issues so that outward changes can occur.
“Hearts United” will be an impactful evening to come together to raise funds so that Saving Amy can help more families and work toward ending the cycle of homelessness.
